A musical fairy tale for little ladies and gentlemen, “Tuffie-Tuffie,” based on the world-famous fairy tales of the English writer Beatrix Potter, who loved animals very much and dedicated cute and kind stories to them.
The play “Ufty-Tufty” is a fun story for family viewing about a little girl, Lucy, who keeps losing her handkerchiefs, socks, and aprons, about the animals she meets in the magical forest, and about the washerwoman, Ufty-Tufty, who is very polite and helps Lucy recreate the cleanliness that the English love so much.
The producers recreate the color and atmosphere of an English farm on stage in a fairy-tale-like form. This is helped by a mini-orchestra with live music and the writer’s favorite rabbit Peter (a real rabbit!), who becomes a full-fledged member of the acting ensemble “Ufti-Tufti”.
